You may have already figure out who to watch Al Jazeera on your Google TV by now, but they have just made it a little easier. Al Jazeera has launched a Google TV website. The new website includes latest headlines, New Bulletin and a handful of archived programs. There is a link to the full site for anything that is missing. The site is now featured in the Google TV Spotlight Gallery or you can access it directly at http://apps.aljazeera.net/ajtv/

The aljazeera app on Google TV is well designed. It is simple, easy to navigate through article thumbnails, and easy to dig deeper into articles of interest. Then it is easy to get back out to the thumbnail level again. It is also a light on the bandwidth – I don’t land on a video that takes 1 minute to buffer up. The overall layout is attractive too. I hope some of the other news feeds take a hard look at aljazeera.
